
There’s not much to look at when the fog rolls into Halifax harbour. I’d recommend a little quiet contemplation but the thick fog means lots of fog horns from the ferry and commercial traffic. Makes for a nice quiet B&W photo though.
I am definitely liking the tones and small grain that FP4+ has. I often get chunky grain and poor tonal range in the fog but this has turned out pretty well. As grim as it looks there’s still plenty of light to shoot at ISO125 and the semi-stand development in HC-110 also seems to add to the success, though I have found it does no matter what I throw at it.
The harbourfront will be covered in tourists soon, it’s nice to get a glimpse of it before the circus starts.
