I do enjoy a good alignment of unrelated items, particularly when they’re totally unrelated. Now if the person who took enough care to align the bike rack had moved it a little further away from the wall so a bike tire could fit in there we’d be set.
This is on the boardwalk side of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax. I’ve said it before but the boardwalk along the harbourfront is mostly deserted during the winter as the wind tends to be quite cold and all the shops, stalls, and huts are all closed for the season. It’s too bad all the good stuff is kept for tourists but that’s the way it goes all over the world unfortunately. At least I get the place mostly to myself.
I don’t think I’ve ever shot a roll of Ilford FP4+ in my life which is saying something as I’ve shot a roll of just about everything over the last 30+ years. I have to admit I quite like it. It’s fine-grained in comparison to the 400 films I usually shoot, but not quite as fine as my beloved but insanely expensive Fuji Acros. With a yellow filter I get a pleasing amount of contrast. I can see myself purchasing more FP4+ for the sunnier days of the year.
