I only really had one full day in Zagreb so I made the most of it and spent the entire day walking the city. It’s a very nice city with the fewest tourists I’ve seen so far on this trip. Everyone is friendly and welcoming and the city itself is filled with that old world charm us new worlders can’t get enough of.
The sun was out in full force again so I managed to get some nice sharp black-and-white photos from all over the city. I love that high-contrast look and there was lots of that.
This fella was waiting around in Ban Jelacic square, not in too much of a rush to get on one of the filled-up trams that time of day. There was a certain bustle to the square but because it was mostly locals going about their business it was far more interesting to me. The tourist shops are further up the hill and the tram station just had that people living their lives feel to it.
