Zagreb is a wonderful city, as interesting in the evening as it is during the day. After having supper along a street busy with people we decided to do a bit more exploring on our walk back to the hotel. Like many European cities there are so many of these narrow alleys in the older neighbourhoods with moody lighting and just enough curve to give it an air of mystery. Not seeing the end always gives me a sense of wonder: what’s around the corner out of sight?
The figure dressed in black just came around the corner as I took the phot, and the blurred face due to the slower shutter speed adds even more suspense to the scene, and I love the reflection of the lights on the walls and stone street, allowing the night sky to recede into blackness.
