A narrow cobblestone street curves to the left, lined with colourfully painted buildings and a low sun shining on the upper portions

While doing the wandering around that I do when I visit a place I’m always on the lookout for interesting light, shapes, and texture. Sometimes I get one or two of those, sometimes all three. As I’ve said before, it’s not a difficult mission when visiting cities like Lisbon.

These old, narrow streets with their curving lines, reflective tile decorations, and mixture of building materials make an inviting scene on their own, even moreso when the light is just right. You can’t help but feel inspired in these places.
