The best part of central Ljubljana, the “old city”, is that it is car-free. You don’t know how incredible it is until you experience it, it’s a freedom you’ve probably never felt in a busy, built-up city. No cars, no traffic lights, no illegal parking, no beg buttons, just the sound of people. It’s how life should be.
As the sun was setting the light was so beautiful and the people going about their business, getting home from school or work, was a real treat to see and be a part off. It’s hard to take a bad photo in Ljubljana, even during “rush hour”.
