Ljubljana doesn’t get nearly as many tourists as other places in Europe but it’s still nice to get away from they hordes they do get. We decided to walk a little northwest of the old city where the masses are and get a different perspective. Tivoli Park is lovely sanctuary in the city that is great for clearing the mind and leaving the craziness behind. We didn’t see any other obvious tourists in the park, just locals getting some exercise and enjoying the fresh air and quiet.
There are lots of paths and trails in the park, as well as some public art. There is also a nice little café next to a small pond to get some ice cream. I was shooting with my digital camera on this trip as I didn’t want to risk getting film destroyed in a CT scanner so this is a version from the raw file.
