
Well I made it to Shanghai on a fourteen hour flight from Toronto. It was a long one but not too bad, better than I expected really.
I meant to post a photo last night but fell asleep before I could get to it. It worked out though as I got a better view of the city this evening from the rooftop terrace of the hotel.
So here’s a view from the roof of the Fairmont Peace Hotel in downtown Shanghai looking across the river to Pudong district. It’s a little on the Blade Runner side of things, and pretty cool.
I got a few photos from my walk up Nanjing Road earlier today, a part of the city that sees 1.7 million visitors every day. It was kind of wild.
