I sent my entire Mamiya 6 system to a service centre in Quebec a few weeks ago and just received it back. I asked to have everything looked at, a complete overhaul on the body and three lenses. The 150mm lens needed its electronics repaired along with a service on the helical mechanism, the other two lenses needed overhauls on their helical mechanisms, and I asked for all three lenses to be calibrated and matched to the rangefinder in the body.
I’m happy to say I’ve got it all back and everything feels great. The 150mm lens now works and all three lenses feel smooth and focus is spot on. It was a ton of money for me but I think it was well-spent on my favourite camera. Now to run a roll of film through it!
