I was staying at a hotel across the harbour from the city proper and found myself bored at sunset. This railing follows a path and wall around that side of the harbour that’s quite nice to walk. I was just leaning on the railing, enjoying the nice weather when the sun hit it at just the right angle. So I pulled out my camera and took a few shots, fully convinced none would turn out because of the harsh light. I totally guessed at the exposure and surprisingly they turned out. A couple of shots had wicked lens flare, but this one came out really well.
This was the first time I had used Fuji Neopan film in XTOL developer. After this roll came out of the tank I was instantly convinced of this combination.
