For Thanksgiving this year I decided to get off my butt and go camping and hiking in the Kejimkujik backcountry. I knew site I’d be staying at on the second night as I had stayed there during the winter. The nearby brook is a good spot to set up the camera and tripod and take a few longer exposure shots.
The water level this autumn seems higher than usual making for a quick moving stream. This also makes for easy long exposure photography. As you can see this really isn’t much of a waterfall, more of a small cascade, but that’s OK. It still looks cool when you slow it all down. It was little difficult getting around the area as I was pretty sore from all the backpacking but I managed to shoot almost two full rolls in and around the bridge and brook. At the vert least it took my mind of the pain in my legs and feet.
