I finally got around to looking at some film I shot about a year ago when my mom was visiting and we drove to Yarmouth to see the sights. We visited the Historical Acadian Village of Nova Scotia where there were a few of the usual historical re-enactments going on. I particularly like the blacksmith shop, a room full of texture perfectly made for black and white.
I wasn’t expecting too much from this photo but am amazed at how well it turned out. When you’ve got low light, motion, slow film and no tripod it’s a gamble. I love a rangefinder for this kind of work.
