More of a study in tones than a statement of anything. I love shooting stone with black and white film, stone in any form just seems to come out so well when shown in grayscale. I suppose there’s something profound to be said about the worn stones, how they endure the worst weather and constant pounding of the surf, but I’ll leave that to the philosophers. I’ll just enjoy the shape, texture and tone of these beautiful objects so often forgotten and trampled underfoot.
