
It’s a sunny Friday in this old harbour town, a nice time to stroll the harbourfront boardwalk and get something to eat for lunch. Today there was a convergence of watercraft, a large navy ship — complete with armed soldiers patrolling the deck — moored up unusually close to the public, the CSS Acadia that is always tied up here as an exhibit of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic and a small sailboat that is usually tied up here.
An interesting trio to contemplate while eating my bacon ice cream sandwich. Oh yes I did.
