Well it’s election day here in Nova Scotia, a scary day when the people get to choose what idiots get to represent them. This one should be a doozy. As with much of our country, cynicism looks like it’ll win out over reason. I hope I’m wrong later this evening when the results are publicized.
The upside of all this is that my local polling place is in the back of a 264-year-old church in the heart of downtown Halifax, St. Matthews United. At least some things don’t change every four years.
